Little-known fact: in Korea, there's a stationery store on (almost) every corner. Still littler-known fact: there were two near my host family's apartment, which is how I ended up coming home with a robot cross-stitch keychain kit and a letter-writing set whose paper showed cows being abducted by aliens. (That is also one of my favorite things.)

One of the items I stocked up on before I left was Mon Ami Plus Pens, also known as "sign pens" and properly pronounced as one word ("monameeploopense"). A Mon Ami Plus Pen offers the flexible tip of a fine art marker without bleeding through whatever you're writing on, even if what you're writing on is a steno pad. They're only available in Korea and from the Internet, but no office supply fan should be without one.
